Makes my blood boil the fact they imprisoned an 11-year-old kid unjustified yet let a 16-year-old drunk driver who got 4 people killed unscathed. It really shows how dysfunctional the justice system really is.

so let me get this straight. they wrongly accused an 11-year-old of killing his soon-to-be stepmom who was pregnant, while the real killer runs free to this day? i feel horrible for the father. losing his fiancée and unborn son, all while his own child was arrested, and he knows that the person that ruined his family is still out there, while his son served punishment instead.

It feels so awful knowing I grew up thinking Jordan was this evil monster when in reality he was just an innocent, sweet little boy who got blamed for something he absolutely didnt do. He didnt get to mourn his step mom and baby siblings deaths because he was pinned as the murderer. It's awful. I feel so bad. I remember seeing his photo as a teenager and thinking how evil he was. I feel bad..

Cases like this happen all too often and as they say, "history repeats itself". Incompetent law enforcement, exaggerated and false claims by the media, rumors (he said, she said) within a community are a deadly combination. Once that path is taken, it's difficult to get back on track. So it's much easier to put away an innocent person than looking like a fool. DISGUSTING AS F***!!!

  • Carmen Kanitz

This is a case where an adult killed the step mother and made the scene look like as if it was the kid! The cops failed their badge of honor and incriminated a child. They did wrong doing their investigations. Only the real dad was his Kid’s Heroe ! He didn’t leave him alone. He lost his job but he kept up standing beside his little son everyday. Until the Dad was able to win the case and take his traumatized son back home with him. But you know something? There’s a God that sees everything and sooner or later He gives payback to those who do wrongdoing! I think that this young man now deserves to close this chapter of horror and nightmare behind him. Don’t you think it’s enough suffering he had gone through? I bet you wouldn’t like to be in his shoes. Why open this chapter of pain for people to murmur? According to the Holy Scriptures, God abhor’s these things. If you want blessings and to prosper in your life; bless this young man now by standing by his side with friendship, compassion, kindness and healing his heart. I’m sure you never ever want to be in his shoes! So, my humble recommendation don’t sit with the gossiper’s if you want your life to be prospered instead of cursed! Turn around and give love, happiness and make their life different with all types of blessings! Then your blessings will pour out in abundance!

When you find a charged and already-punished person innocent, it’s not like you can un-punish that person. It’s more like an “Oops.”
Prisoners, even those who are guilty, instead of being tortured, need to be punished in restorative ways, so they can finish imprisonment as better people.

The judges involved in his incarceration should at minimum receive life in prison, and at maximum capital punishment. They stole an 11 year old's childhood. It was determined their ruling was contrary to the evidence. Plain corruption. Treason has an established penalty, death.

@Frank1fm that’s not what I said. What type of sense would it make for me to say an inexperienced 7 yr old girl would be able to shoot a 12gz shotgun and kill her mother. You missed what I was trying to say in that entire situation.

    • Frank1fm
      Frank1fm 3 महीने पहले

@CeeTeeDee OK so Janessa changed her story.I got that.Let me explain something to you. There is no way 7 year old Janessa could use a shotgun.Have you ever held a shotgun let alone shoot one.The shotgun is almost as big as Janessa. So 7 year old Janessa decides to kill Kenzia for what ever reason and she decides to use a shot gun to do it.And what about the recoil from shooting a shot gun.The recoil would have have thrown Janessa back at least 5 feet.So how did Janessa get the shot gun shell into the rifle? So she picks up the shot gun which is almost bigger than she is and aims it and shoots it.Meanwhile Jordan doesn't hear anything. So Janessa decides to use Jordan's shot gun and where did she find the shot gun?So Janessa drags Jordan's shot gun to where Kenzie is sleeping and Jordan doesn't see or hear anything. There's no way in the world Janessa picked up,aimed and fired that shotgun.Did Janessa know how to load a shot gun?

    • Midnight Shadow
      Midnight Shadow 4 महीने पहले

@Frank1fm Yeah, that doesn't seem right. The kid has no motive to kill her. It sounds like she was wrapped up in some pretty sketchy stuff. Somebody doesn't usually get assassinated in their own house if they're living the typical 9-5 lifestyle. Somebody had to gain entrance to the residence, execute the lady, clean up the scene, and leave without being spotted. That scheme is far too complicated for an eleven year old kid to pull off. Even if it was possible, if you have no reason to kill, why would you go to that much trouble?

    • CeeTeeDee
      CeeTeeDee 4 महीने पहले

@Frank1fm okay but do you realize that Janessa literally changed her story 3 times. There’s clearly some inconsistency in her side. It’s evident that the detectives trusted the 3 different stories this 7 yr old explained, instead of the one the 11 year old explained. And literally this 11 yr old is a hunter, he probably moves his gun every day. But just because he has “gun powder residue” he’s the perpetrator? Makes a lot of sense.
Edit: Not to mention that the judge that took his case kept him in prison for 10 years for something he didn’t do. How does that reflect on the justice system?

    • Frank1fm
      Frank1fm 4 महीने पहले

CeeTeeDee what do you mean a terrible job from detectives? There were only three people in the house when Kenzie was murdered.Seven year old Janessa.Eleven year old Jordan and Kenzie.Kenzie is murdered. That leaves eleven year old Jordan and seven year old Janessa.Of the two,Janessa and Jordan, which one killed Kenzie?

I lived in Pittsburgh at the time of this gruesome murder and there was never a suspect other than the kid. No one comes into a house, finds a shotgun and kills a total stranger then disappears without trace. The kid wasn't exonerated, the judge didn't think the case was proven.

  • Alwa
    Alwa महीने पहले +1

What is interesting is that they immediately found it suspicious that the 11 year old boy added information to his testimony about the black car but did not find it suspicious that the 7 year old girl added information to her story about that morning. While the boy's information was additional and not inconsistent, the girl's information was entirely new and transformative to the investigation yet they did not find it suspicious but instead acted on it. Disregarding the fact that between her first interview and her second interview she had been exposed to her grandparents opinion that the boy had committed the murder. She then added all sorts of specific and profound details to her recollection which were not there before. But this was not suspicious to prosecutors though they say in this interview that they look for changes between interviews as suspicious. I think prosecutors often overestimated their ability to be unbiased and in fact are often extremely biased in how they view the evidence and testimony before them.

I grew up 5 miles from their house, this entire incident shook our little town, they talked about it for years, people said such awful things about him, he was 11 years old. I personally think he didn't do it as I sincerely doubt an 11 year old could commit this crime and cover it up in under 2 minutes, get on the bus and head to school like nothing happened. Not only that but at least 2 of the cops that handled it don't exactly have stellar reputations, they just wanted this case shut as quick as possible. How can you ignore the ex boyfriend that literally threatened her life in the weeks before coupled with the fact that Jordan said he saw a black truck that morning, the same type of truck her ex drove yet they cleared him almost immediately because he had a little snow on his hood? Hey cops, take notes, this is why we don't trust you guys. Your "job" doesn't make you unconditionally correct and yes you guys can and do make plenty of mistakes. The cops that arrested him should be ashamed of themselves. Standing up there trying to justify arresting an 11 year old child, morons.

@Sean Collier So the pregnant victims ex might have police affiliation, or convince the cops the kid did it and his daughters suffered there, to ensure he get's custody back? Somehow got that slipped into evidence since they believed it needed to be there to prosecute what they really thought was a killer kid.
Yeah that's an inside affiliation if the ex convinced the cops the boy had to have done it. The ex had motivation to involve in the investigation if those 2 girls were his, and get custody over acting like his ex has moved in with a killer kid and his girls shouldn't be living with this crazy father with a killer boy.
In that sense, I can see why the cops blamed the boy, they listen to their attitude and it was more indifference. What happened to the man's first wife? Who got custody of the girls? So the man lives on all alone, no more single dad with one son. How did he get custody of the boy to begin with? Where's his natural mother? Who got custody after the girls got removed from the home?
Now the big question: Did CPS get involved and take the girls? Gone forever to maybe human trafficking and pay offs? You know they get adoption payoffs don't you? Did the ex get the girls? This short little story just aims at this one 11 yr old. WHAT ABOUT THOSE 2 LITTLE GIRLS?

Another horrible story I saw on one of the crime shows was of a poor little girl who was allegedly brutally murdered by her mother and father. Though the proper and correct evidence was not presented in court until years later, they were sent to prison, I think for life tho I'm not sure of the sentence. Finally, another attorney took the case who thoroughly researched every ounce of evidence and didn't stop until the truth came out. It was a hot summer's day and the child was playing in the backyard and 2 neighborhood dogs attacked and killed her. Even though she said it was the dogs who attacked her before she died and the parents said so, their testimony was dismissed. Years later, a neighbor came forward and said that the dogs had been known to be vicious. The attorney was able to present photos which proved that the child had been mauled to death. The fact that none of this evidence was presented at the first trial is outrageous. And heartbreaking. Not only did the parents lose years of their lives in prison, but they lost their child because of the (in)justice system. Thank God for that attorney who cared.

So the child ran home to kill his mother and went right back to school while his dad was at the factory? When I was in high school, we had attendance taken every period. Which means if I left 3rd period and didn’t go to 4th, the school would notice immediately. I’m sure this child’s school would be somewhat the same. Especially since he was a small child.

I know what's it like to be accused of something you didn't do. I was arrested for assault simply because I "fit the clothing description of the assaultant. (Who wore black)" and that "I rode a bike." But so did the other 20 people (of both genders) that were arrested that day matching those very criteria. During those 6 months I spent fighting the charges, I lost my job & I lost a whole semester of college. Of the 6 counts they tact onto me 5 out 6 victims said I wasn't tge guy because i was too short. A fact the cops knew already but we're hoping I'd take a "plea deal." The lone victim admitted how she never really saw the guy who assaulted her. However, her older brother, on the stand, claim I WAS the guy. But on cross examination my attorney pointed out how he told detectives the guy who had assaulted his sister was 6 feet tall and about 250 pounds. She pointed out to him how I was a mere 5 feet 2 inches tall and 105 pounds. "Do you STILL believe it was my client who assaulted your sister?" Which he still said I was that guy. Within only 2 minutes the jury said I was not guilty of any crime.
After the verdict, the cop on that case still believed I committed the crime and harassed me for nearly a year before going away and being an ass to someone else. I learned then that cops NEVER ever believe they make mistakes or overlook anything. Once tunnel enters their minds, all other possibilities dies as well.

Honestly I have a feeling he killed his stepmother. Everyone here seems to think that just because he’s proven “innocent” that means he didn’t do it. Many people have gotten away with murder after being found innocent after convicted. My uncle was convicted of murder then 20 years later he was found innocent and released just to admit that he committed the murder. I don’t think all children are incapable of murder especially ones who have guns and hunting skills…
